HI!  THANKS SO MUCH FOR CHOOSING CCPT.

HERE'S A LITTLE BIT BEHIND OUR CORE VALUES.

I was fortunate to pursue a career that suits my "can't sit still" personality and my creative mind to answer "how can I make it better." Quite a fun combination for my patients and family! I am a competitive athlete, movement enthusiast, marathoner, injured athlete, pregnant athlete, photographer, crafter, builder, wife and mom. Whew! And the common thread [and challenge] through all these life experiences is body care; how to feel good while thriving in my own story.

Clearly, I was not always about "Space to Breathe".  I am a doer, and an over doer.  As my professional life and personal life tend to intertwine, I went to a course that was going to help me learn some breathing patterns to help with sports performance.

What I took from this course, was a life changing event for me personally, and my therapeutic interventions.  I had no idea how inter related the movement of breath, the mechanics of breath, and the chemistry of breath all impact how your nervous system is regulated.

From someone who has difficulty settling, anxiety, and fatigue, I had no idea it was related to "how I was breathing". It's a rabbit hole I continue to dive down.

My lens for evaluating movement, was broadened, deepened and more inclusive than I had ever looked at injury before.  This is the "systems approach" to movement, where your injury is what may bring you in, but I am looking at the function of all biological systems that make up healthy living.

The feedback has been incredible.  This approach is very functional into your day to day life (moms, i get it!) and it can expand into your workout regimen.  It's why I believe so firmly, some days are meant to "work in" and some days are meant to "work out".

Core Concepts Physical Therapy is an extension of my personal and professional experiences to inspire your strength, health and confidence and re define your own core concepts to fit you story. CCPT can help you  become "functionally fit", and the best version of you, for your family, relationships and lifestyle goals.

‚ÄčAnd at the core of all that I do, are Mark, Vincent and Charlotte.

I will take care of myself, so I can take care of you.

-Dani
